Blog Chatting

I want to meet people who are living their dream. Driven people are passionate people. Natural born gifting and passion show a perfect example of "higher purpose". If you have a higher purpose and are successful, we want to tell your story. Not to brag... but to tell the GOOD news and motivate others. C'Mon tell us? Are you leaving your mark?

Amal Sarieddine - Lebanon

Gemstone accents, rhinestone belted satin gowns, purple, gold silver and chartruse green was the theme of Amal Sarieddine's collection that took first position on the runway of Couture Fashion Week. The intricate and beautifully embelished gowns were ethereal and the designs are so beautifully elegant and classy that this designer will quickly become an A List Designer in the states. Congratulations Amal, on a heavenly collection and on the impending birth of your baby! Mark541 loves you!

Couture Fashion Week

September 10-12, 2010 New York City, Waldorf Astoria

Cristina Nitopi

Australian Designer, Cristina Nitopi will appear at Couture Fashion Week in New York City in September. A deeply spiritual woman, the designer says her inspiration comes from meditation, spiritual healing and connection with her higher self. She produces a very interesting men's fashion line that mixes deeply masculine material with lace and fur on men. Her use of adverse textures and beautiful fabric make her designs appear surreal on the runway. Look for her designs to make an impact on fashion culture! check her out at: www.cristinanitopi.com.au

Recycled Fashions

It's amazing what we can do with garbage. Roads are paved with rubber from discarded tires. Boutiques sell purses crafted from gum wrappers. Even this year's Olympic medals were partially made from electronic waste. Amazing.Check out clothing made entirely from trash in the free public exhibit “Recycle Runway: Reclaimed Fashions” by Nancy Judd, which continues daily through August 8. "Making trash into elegant and beautiful fashions attracts attention to the actions that we can each take in our everyday lives to care for the planet,” says Judd. Works on display include a soda-can dress commissioned by Coca-Cola, a recycled glass-bead evening gown, and an outfit made of Toyota parts. (Judd could probably make a boatload of cash selling the Toyota deal to angry Prius owners.)

Recycled Runway at Phoenix Airport

This is a subject close to my heart! This dress is made of soda can tabs. I found this display at the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix! Love this designer and what she is doing for recycling and FASHION!

Tale of the Tree

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 1:1-3
